Many a fitout has been slowed down by performing much of the work onsite. We consider this time-consuming work to be both unnecessary and undesirable. Instead, when you work with Norman, your job is prefabricated at our purpose-built premises by state of the art machinery that delivers you an incredibly accurate result in a short space of time.
You benefit from the way we manufacture the components of your fitout because of the efficiencies at every stage of the process. From our fully computerised job system to the way our machinery automatically plans and position the materials, through to the way our experienced staff professionally assemble all joinery in a purpose-built workshop, the best result is achieved with the least amount of handling and minimal wastage.
Because we are also a specialist Cut & Edge facility, unlike many suppliers, the boards processed at Norman that make up your joinery are all processed in-house with cutting edge precision.
As a result of our using the latest methods, your finished joinery doesn't suffer from inaccurate edging or board swelling due to outdated ways of approaching the job manually. Instead of simply cutting the board and edging at a second stage, we use state of the art pre-milling edging machines that cut, trim and buff the edges all at once. Our beamsaws offer you ten times more accuracy than the standard, mechanically measured saw most workshops use, due to their magnetic positioning systems.
This all means that when our craftsmen assemble your joinery, it has only moved 50 metres from where it was cut with the latest technology available to a clean bench. It hasn't been transported (and had unassembled edges possibly damaged) to a messy worksite for construction amongst relative chaos.
You thus gain far less time wastage and a superior finish to your fitout.
